A huge jellyfish-like object is seen over Stockholm and triggers global panic. Biologist Zandra Kraft realizes that it may be humanity's first contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life. Together with Prime Minister Moa Halmgren and crisis expert Elias Charbel, she must deal with hysteria, corruption and the threat of military intervention. Adult creatures create panic. Zandra worries that Kasper is not growing. Moa and Petra come into conflict over the egg. Adam is influenced by conspiracy theories and becomes furious when he finds Kasper's cage.
