Deadline: White House

4pm: The White House restored the press passes for MS NOW White House correspondents today after almost being in outright defiance of a court order and a potential constitutional crisis. Judge Timothy Kelly ordered the White House to restore CNN, MS NOW, and Politico's White House Access after the Trump administration banned the news organizations from White House grounds late last week. 

5pm: While White House reporters struggled to have their press passes restored earlier today, Chinese President Xi Jinping received a warm welcome from Donald Trump. 

4pm: In an emergency ruling, the Supreme Court will allow the federal government to use the SAVE citizenship database in coordination with states to find noncitizens.

5pm: While Trump feted a foreign dictator, one who has helped to prop up Trump's proclaimed number one enemy Iran, the American press was out in the cold.
