Next Episode of Deadline: White House is
Season 2026 / Episode 127 and airs on 30 June 2026 20:00
Hosted by Nicolle Wallace, this program provides in-depth reporting and dynamic discussions on the political stories driving the news cycle. Nicolle Wallace brings viewers the latest political developments of the day, in addition to interviews with leading newsmakers and influential politicians. Drawing on her years of experience as communications chief for President George W. Bush and senior advisor for the McCain-Palin campaign, Wallace provides political insight and clarity on where key decision-makers stand on complex issues.
4pm: Nicolle Wallace on a new book by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan -- full of carefully reported accounts of Donald Trump pushing or ignoring norms and boundaries... as those in his orbit do nothing to resist his worst impulses.
5pm: Nicolle Wallace on Trump torpedoing a chance to show Americans that he doesn't believe affordability is a hoax, canceling a bill signing meant to champion a landmark, bipartisan piece of affordable housing legislation less than two hours before it was supposed to begin.
4pm: Nicolle Wallace and guests discuss the Supreme Court's decision to upend the asylum system as we know it. In a 6-3 decision, with the 3 liberal justices dissenting, the court decided to let Donald Trump functionally end temporary protected status for hundreds of thousands of refugees from Haiti and Syria. Later, Nicolle covers a major win for voting rights just ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
5pm: Nicolle Wallace and friends discuss the ongoing debacle of the newly renovated and algae ridden Lincoln Reflecting Pool. So far, this debacle has cost at least $16.4 million dollars, which is just a fraction of what Trump plans to spend to complete vanity projects all over Washington D.C. Later, Nicolle discusses the economic pain Americans are feeling as inflation saw the biggest increase in three years, reaching over 4%.
4pm: Pete Buttigieg, the first openly gay confirmed Cabinet member in U.S. history, former Transportation secretary and who many Democrats hope will be a possible 2028 contender, announcing a post on Substack today he and his family were the target of a quote "cruel, politically motivated hoax."
5pm: The fight isn't about actual fraud -- which there are so few, if any, real instances of. It's about the perception that election results cannot be trusted.
