After María's insistence, Raúl decides to stay... but he needs Andrés's approval. Irene alerts Don Pedro about Joaquín's questions and his suspicious behavior. Chema tries to convince Tasio to use his position and introduce him to the De La Reinas. Damián demands that Andrés return to his job at the De La Reina perfumeries and regain control of his life. Claudia, overwhelmed with the foster home, asks Fina for help. María is relieved to learn that Andrés has ended his relationship with Begoña. Damián learns that Gabriel now knows Tasio is actually a De La Reina. Gabriel meets María, and she warns him about the dangers of the De La Reina family. Andrés begins to realize the life he has lost in the wake of María's fall.

Gabriel seems to have won over the De La Reinas, but Pelayo has reservations about his sudden appearance in the family. Digna reveals to Don Pedro and Irene who Gabriel is and what his relationship with the De La Reinas is. Joaquín suspects Irene: he believes she lied about the night he fell asleep in the office. María wants Andrés to dedicate himself entirely to her and not return to his job at De La Reina perfumeries. Irene reveals to Digna an important secret about her past. Begoña, devastated by the breakup with Andrés, seeks support from Luz. Gema, worried, asks Luz to accompany her to her checkup with the cardiologist. Marta announces that Cobeaga has chosen them to create the perfume for her next collection. Damián threatens María with having her committed to a luxury residence.

Gabriel is aware of the tension between Tasio and Damián. To María's delight, Begoña and Andrés continue to grow apart. Gabriel meets Irene and discovers useful information for his hidden agenda. Gema, a result of Joaquín's suspicions, tries to extract information from Irene. Pelayo asks Marta to accompany him on a hunt. Digna tries to convince Irene that Don Pedro was acting with her best interests in mind when he separated her from Cristina. Gema, disappointed in Luz for not showing up for her appointment with the cardiologist, demands an explanation from the doctor.
