The winner of the show "Occultist Challenge" Kostiantyn Shumeiko earns a living, posing as a psychic Liubomyr Merlan. Kostia himself despises everything otherworldly and with the help of logic and erudition helps naive people solve problems that at first glance seem like something mystical and magical. Meanwhile, Kostia is joined by his brother Ihor, a charming and gentle loser who tries in vain to win back his wife Viktoriia and win the favor of his son Mark. Order in the psychic's apartment is maintained by the housekeeper Valentyna Ivanivna – an experienced woman who will not go into her pocket for a word. Kostia and Ihor spend a lot of time in the bar where Una works – a former silver spoon who went against her father's will and now gets used to life on free bread. Instead of studying in London, she works as a bartender and dreams of becoming a saviour of wild animals in Africa. Sometimes friends help Kostia in solving cases, and also support each other.
