Amber and Trent Johnston are living the American dream. They have been happily married for 14 years and have five children ranging from 6 to 13 years old. On paper, they might seem like your average family...yet in person, they attract a lot of attention.... because all seven members of the Johnston family – Amber, Trent, their two biological children, Jonah and Elizabeth, as well as their three adopted children, Anna, Emma and Alex – happen to have Achondroplasia Dwarfism. Together, these spunky seven make up the largest known family of Achondroplastic dwarfs in the world, and even describe themselves as "the real life seven dwarfs".
The Johnstons put together a live nativity set for their annual Christmas card. Anna does her own Christmas photos with her dogs and struggles with being distant from her family during the holidays. Trent and Amber come up with a plan to meet Anna.
The family brings in the new year with a game of charades and a countdown at noon! Liz and Brice move into their own home with the help of some housewarming gifts from the family. Trent and Amber meet with Anna for the first time in months.
After years of dating, Liz and Brice are finally engaged! But with a tight timeline, Liz's plan for a backyard wedding leaves Trent and Amber feeling the pressure. Then, Liz shops in hopes to find the perfect dress for her big day.
Her first trip to the bridal shop was a bust but Liz is still determined to find the one. The pain from getting a tattoo has Emma woozy in the chair. The family gears up for their first trip with Leighton. Destination: San Diego.
The family travels to San Diego for the annual LPA conference; Liz surprises her best friends with a big question, while Jonah, Alex, and Emma face off with a falcon; back home, Liz and Brice's early wedding plans raise concerns.
Amber, Emma, and Alex visit Allie in Ohio, but things get tense when strangers shout derogatory remarks. Back home, the guys go skeet shooting with humiliating stakes. Liz and Brice's wedding quote shocks Trent and Amber.
