A legal comedy on NBC starring Scott Foley as Adam Sullivan, an Assistant U.S. Attorney based in New York. Sullivan is new to the position and stumbles along in his first days, but does show some signs of future strength. Public Defender Susan Rakoff (Amanda Detmer) is Sullivan’s chief opponent in the early going. Rakoff believes that government attorneys are evil. Sullivan thinks Rakoff is cute.

Geoffrey Laurence (Peter Jacobson) is Sullivan’s direct supervisor, Wally Berman (John Ross Bowie) is Sullivan’s paralegal, and Ana Rivera (Ana Ortiz) rounds out the office staff as a fellow Assistant US Attorney. Eddie McClintock rounds out the list of stars, playing Owen Harper, Sullivan’s roommate.

A.U.S.A. premiered February 4th, 2003 on NBC and lasted just eight episodes until April 1st, 2003. A.U.S.A. aired Tuesdays at 9:30pm EST for one half hour.
