Alex goes in search of two runaway children after a family tragedy and took with them the gun from their father.

After a car accident, Alex wakes with amnesiac having forgotten all the last 6 months, which is embarrassing because some indications of a recent crime suggest that he could be involved.

Angelo and Tony find an abandoned baby in front of the police station, a baby whose mother seems to be a migrant who has disappeared. Alex is investigating this disappearance despite the hostility towards the migrants of some villagers and the antagonism of the latter with the volunteers who rake the mountains to assist migrants who have crossed the border.
