Traffic Cops

As police pursue a car suspected of carrying drugs across county lines, it smashes into a parked car. Inside, they find two young men, but no drugs, With the car mysteriously slowing down before the crash, officers suspect the men threw the drugs out the window. A routine speed check leads to an arrest, when officers pull over a man suspected of going over the speed limit and smell cannabis.

On the M1, police receive reports of a lorry drifting across busy lanes. As officers get on its tail, the 40-ton vehicle swerves out of control, almost smashing into a queue of traffic on a slip road. A HGV mysteriously loses control on a dual carriageway and veers off the road, crashing head-first into a ditch. On the M1, a lorry pile-up brings officers racing to the scene.

In the Derbyshire Peaks, police pursue a dangerous driver who takes off at speed when they catch up with him, hitting 80 miles an hour and clashing with other cars along the way. In the centre of Derby, police spot two cars racing and after a high-speed chase through the town centre, they're forced to use two stingers to bring the young drivers to a stop.

Officers find an injured biker who says he's been knocked off his bike by a drink driver. When the police track the suspect to an address nearby, the man becomes aggressive, making threats. Officers spot a car with no lights on performing a dangerous overtake on a taxi, and when they breathalyse the young woman driving, the cause of her carelessness becomes clear.
