American Ninja Warrior Junior celebrates real kids taking on the iconic course with dedication and skill. Nearly 200 boy and girl Junior Ninjas from across the U.S. will face off on the same Head to Head courses in three age brackets: 9 & 10, 11 & 12, and 13 & 14 year olds. The courses will feature iconic Ninja Warrior obstacles, including Sonic Swing, Tic Toc, Spin Cycle, and the Warped Wall. Each age bracket will be mentored by All Star Ninja Mentors and three final winners (one per age bracket) will be crowned the first ever American Ninja Warrior Junior Champions.
The next generation of "American Ninja Warrior" begins, as some of the show's biggest fans now get an opportunity to compete for the chance to be named American Ninja Warrior junior champion. Over the course of 20 weeks, 192 young competitors travel to Los Angeles from all over the country to square off in three separate age group brackets (9 and 10, 11 and 12, 13 and 14) until only one is left standing in each bracket. "American Ninja Warrior" co-hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila return to provide play-by-play commentary, along with a new co-host, gold-winning Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez. Joining them are all-star ninjas, including Drew Drechsel, Meagan Martin, Najee Richardson, Barclay Stockett, Kevin Bull, and Natalie Duran, who act as mentors for all of the junior ninjas.

Twelve new junior ninjas (ages 9-14) compete in the sixth qualifier of the tournament.
Twelve new junior ninjas (ages 9-14) compete in the seventh qualifier of the tournament.
The remaining twelve junior ninjas (ages 9-14) compete in the eighth qualifier of the tournament.
Twelve junior ninjas compete in the first quarterfinal to move ahead to the semifinals.
Twelve more junior ninjas compete in the second quarterfinal to move ahead to the semifinals.
Twelve more junior ninjas compete in the third quarterfinal to move ahead to the semifinals.
The last twelve junior ninjas compete in the fourth quarterfinal to move ahead to the semifinals.
The final four competitors from each age group compete in the grand finale.
