Anni Dewani and her husband are on their honeymoon in Cape Town when their taxi gets hijacked. The next day Anni's body is discovered, and a murder investigation begins.
Police are searching for Tongo, the taxi driver, who has now been named as a suspect. Meanwhile, Anni's family start to feel some of Shrien's behavior is unusual.
A phone call reveals information that may point to a motive for arranging Anni's murder. Shrien appoints a stellar defence team who begin dismantling the police case.
Having been extradited, Shrien is flown to South Africa to stand trial for murder. Anni's family are there for every moment, hoping to finally get answers.
