Ringo exploits the trust Rachel has in him, also winning King's approval. Ringo has been planning this for years, seeking the best opportunity to take destructive revenge on Endless Beauty.
It has always been Shanthi's dream to visit the relatives across North America, and now it's Romesh's job to make her dream a reality. He's somewhat less than delighted…
They kick off their trip in Tampa, Florida, where they have arranged to meet Romesh's cousin Pratheep, who has set up an all-American week. Romesh starts the trip as his means to go on, by trying to get rid of his mother at a Floridian retirement park, but Shanthi is having none of it.
Pratheep's first activity is to get Romesh to take part in a spicy food competition, one that involves downing a vomit -nducing concentrated Naga chilli soup. With a tender stomach he is then introduced to a group of locals whose idea of fun is to drive Monster truck and shoot AK47s.
Romesh and his mum's relationship hits an all-time low when he breaks free from Shanthi to attend a beer-chugging Frat party initiation. On the final day Pratheep has arranged the one thing Shanthi wanted to do - see a Gospel choir - but she is so angry with Romesh that she takes herself back to the retirement Park and misses the whole thing, leaving Romesh trying to work out how to make it up to her.
Romesh's mother derails their America trip to take them to Canada for a big family reunion.
Romesh starts by helping out his seven year-old cousin in a breakdancing performance in his local primary school, before the arrival of his favourite Uncle Ragu.
Romesh and Ragu try their hand at surviving in the Canadian Wilderness but Romesh soon gets tired of his Uncle's surprises, which include appearing on a News channel where the presenters are naked and arranging a kidnapping in the wilderness.
Having abandoned his mother again, Romesh tries to make it up to her by taking her to a Glacier to see the Northern Lights.
In this episode, Romesh's enthusiastic younger brother Dinesh is joining them on a tour of the Deep South with their Uncle Guru.
In New Orleans, the sibling rivalry gets off to a bad start when they take part in a professional wrestling match. Things do not get any better when Guru turns up in an RV to take them cat-fishing in Mississippi.
Can Romesh successfully join a troupe of male cheerleaders in Alabama and put on a guerrilla performance in front of an unsuspecting crowd?
By the time the reach the final day of the road trip, Romesh's persistent petulance means the family have given up on trying to get him to join in with Dinesh's lifelong dream of doing a sky dive.
Romesh's mum Shanthi has arranged for him to be reunited with his cousin Krishna at a cowboy ranch in Colorado, where she wants Romesh to use the experience to teach Krishna how to become a man.
