The police have registered 1,569 Norwegians in their "Missing Persons Register". The police do not know where these people have gone, and in many cases, what happened just before they disappeared. Former Kripos investigator Asbjørn Hansen and reporter Kristian Ervik take a closer look at several of these cases.
18-year-old Odin Andre Hagen Jacobsen disappeared after a city trip in Trondheim a year and a half ago. The case appears to be a mystery to both the police and the family. Asbjørn Hansen and journalist Kristian Ervik from Åsted Norway check the places where Odin was last seen. On a remote forest road, they find a witness who may be able to shed new light on the disappearance. Also in the program are Odin's parents.
Could an unidentified body found in 2010 be the solution to an old disappearance case? In 1962 father-of-two Svein Wahlquist left for a summer convention at Vinstra. Late in the evening he left the party to go home to his wife and two young children. But Wahlguist never came home, and has been missing ever since. Was he killed, or subjected to an accident?
It has been 593 days since Anne-Elisabeth Hagen disappeared from her home in Lørenskog. For the family, this has been a nightmare. The children offer a prayer to those who know where their mother is hidden. And those who contribute to the mother being found will receive a million dollar reward from the family.
