Baby Ballroom is a reality series following the young dancers of the Zig Zag Dance Factory in Wolverhampton. The series combines the everyday lives, hard work and sacrifice of the dance couples, their parents and teachers whilst not forgetting the glitz, glamour and fake tan fun of this extraordinary world.
Max and Olivia have just as explosive a relationship off the floor as they do on it. Meanwhile Grace and Olivia are an all-girl couple, since there are not enough boys to go round.
Mia and Andrei live together after Mia's family effectively adopted Andrei. Jack and Emily get their first taste of the ballroom world.
Jamie and Mia are setting out to win all their under-14 junior Ballroom and Latin competitions, but Jamie must also face revealing his hobby to his schoolmates. At Zig Zag, Strictly star Kristina Rihanoff holds a special workshop for the students.
Trainers Warren and Jane pluck two young couples from the Saturday beginners' class and send them out to gain performance experience. Sebastian has three years' experience but is struggling to find a partner. 16-year-old India is paired with Icelandic dancer Thor, six years her senior.
India and Alicia are both trying to follow in their dance teacher parents' fancy footsteps. Under-14 specialists Jamie and Mia have decided to step up into the older category, where they face tough competition.
Warren holds a line-dancing class complete with cowboy outfit. Trained ballerina Simone Sault takes the ballroom boys and girls back to basics. At the week's big competiton, there is a shock result for Jamie and Mia.
The two Mias go for a dress fitting and a make-over. Andrei's father Ovi has travelled all the way from Romania and expects to see his son on the podium. Warren trains four-year-old Ella, whose parents were former students of his.
Warren plans an awards night to thank the students and parents for all their hard work, at which he and Jane will come out of retirement for their first performance in 20 years.
