Jessica St. Clair ("Bridesmaids") and Lennon Parham ("Accidentally on Purpose") star as Jessica and Lennon, best friends who live on opposite sides of the country with the men in their lives. When Jessica is overnighted divorce papers, Lennon convinces her to return home to Brooklyn and back into the apartment they used to share. It doesn't take long for the girls to fall into old habits: movie marathons and late night girl talk sessions - none of which is good news for Lennon's live-in boyfriend, Joe (Luka Jones, Upright Citizens Brigade). Joe tries to be understanding but begins to feel like a stranger in his own home. Meanwhile, Jessica is trying to get used to her new single life. Will she have to start buying matching sets of underwear again? Also, reconnecting with old friends like Rav (Stephen Schneider, "Happy Endings"), who may or may not have feelings for her, is more complicated than she thought. All of Jessica's new efforts are met with the critique of the friends' precocious nine-year-old neighbor, Queenetta (Daija Owens), who is not shy about doling out advice on their life choices.
After Jessica is served with divorce papers, her best friend, Lennon, persuades her to move back home to Brooklyn and into the apartment they used to share. The gals easily fall back into old habits, much to the dismay of Lennon's live-in boyfriend, Joe.
Jessica must deal with the repercussions of accidentally calling her ex just a few days before what would have been their third anniversary. Meanwhile, Lennon, Joe and Rav come up with a plan to cheer Jessica up.
Lennon goes out of her way to please Joe's parents at his dad's retirement party. Meanwhile, Jessica must face the reality of her divorce when her belongings show up at her doorstep.
Jessica gets back into the dating scene after being contacted by a former crush. Meanwhile, Lennon and Joe struggle with finding alone time together in their new living situation.
Lennon holds an open house for her new community dance studio. Lennon's old dance partner, Ken, who's now a famous choreographer, comes to show his support, and Jessica isn't happy about having to share her best friend. Meanwhile, Joe questions Ken's sexuality and true intentions.
The gang head to Atlantic City for a gaming convention, where Joe will debut his new video game. While there, an unexpected encounter between Rav and Jessica has them questioning their true feelings for each other.
