America's richest self-made woman Diane Hendricks is betting big on the town integral to her family's success. Betting on Beloit chronicles the billionaire entrepreneur and her driven, accomplished daughter Konya Hendricks Schuh's mission to revitalize Beloit, Wisconsin. The show follows Konya and her dynamic team—which includes her husband Matt (a plumbing contractor and former home builder), good friend and project manager Pete, and her realtor nephew Connor, as well as local artisans and designer friends Kristin and Mitch—as they purchase, restore and reimagine historic homes throughout Beloit's storied neighborhoods.
Konya and the crew take on two projects at once - a little house with a lot of problems, and an abandoned home that may not be worth saving. Pete uncovers a hidden issue that may derail their renovation.
As the Wisconsin winter sets in, Pete has a risky idea for a custom fireplace. Connor disagrees with Konya's aggressive list price. Konya gives the president of Beloit College a first look at her newest renovation.
The Landmarks Commission has made their decision about 730 Park and Konya begins demolition and construction of the team's first tear down.
As the team works on their first tear down, Konya and the team focus on design elements that will make this new construction feel like a home worthy of the Historical District.
