Blinging up Baby (2014)

Blinging Up Baby follows the lives of parents who spoil their children with bedazzled dummies, hairpieces and fake tans. The show follows different mothers across the country as they soon come to realise that spoiling their child or children may come at a price.

For Sophie in Essex, dressing her daughters in glamourous clothes, has led to constant criticism from those closest to her and people on the internet. In Birkenhead, Marie has been producing bespoke fashion pieces for children for over 25 years, but is finding the demand for the clothes on a constant increase. We meet one of her customers, Sammy from Doncaster who has begun dressing her one year old daughter in frilly dresses and crystals, leaving no money for herself but her daughter with a wardrobe worth thousands of pounds. Finally we meet single mum Liane, who has put all her money into putting her six year old and four year old daughters into beauty pageants.
