They are joined by a new cadre of cops who are just as unorthodox as they are: Gabrielle, David's daughter, who has her father's stubborn streak; Joe, an intrepid Micmac police officer from Gesgapegiag; and Kim, a Sureté du Québec lieutenant who is generally skeptical of David's methods.
Suspended, David investigates with his daughter the disappearance of an Indigenous chief in Gaspésie, amid family and cultural tensions.
Pipeline tensions and political pressure mount as the team takes risks to earn the community's trust and move the investigation forward.
At the Assembly of First Nations, two premiers and lobbyists join the debate on the pipeline.
Shaken by a tragic event, the team refuses to back down. By evading the authorities and following a risky lead, they discover that the disappearance hides a national scandal. But others are ready to do anything to suppress the truth.
To recover crucial evidence, David and his team orchestrate a daring infiltration into the heart of a corporate empire. Between improvisation and possible betrayals, their plan could expose the truth or bring them down harder than expected.
