Every day in America around 25,000 people are arrested and booked into jail, each one-hour episode will follow the story of an arrestee, with their permission, as they move through the system and recount what ultimately led them to their time in jail. From petty offenses to serious crimes, viewers will be taken on a harrowing adventure while they watch the arrestees throughout the booking process.
In Flagler County, a man is busted for stealing a wallet in a convenience store; in Mesa, a man is arrested on burglary charges while his girlfriend is brought in on obstruction; in Modesto, a ladies' man is arrested for his third DUI and a mechanic was caught stealing supplies at a hardware store.
In Mesa County, a man is busted by deputies after his own mother turns him in; in Virginia Beach, a father of five owns up to driving without a license, while a woman spends her first night in jail over a photo album; in Modesto, a cigarette run ends with a man hauled in on misdemeanor warrants, and a young and reckless driver is arrested when officers uncover a stash of drugs in the car.
The SWAT team responds to a call from Mesa County police to apprehend two wanted subjects, while a young woman in Virginia Beach receives an unexpected Mother's Day gift in the form of a new mugshot; in Flagler County, a young man learns the hard way that Florida's cannabis laws are more stringent than those in many other states.
