This six part Australian mini-series is set inside the convent of Santo Spirito. Six 'Brides of Christ' find themselves torn between the secular world of the 1960s and years of tradition imposed by the Cathoic Church. Personal, religious and ethical conflicts arise when the free thinking pupils they teach encourage them to re-evaluate their lives.
