Bring It! returns with all new episodes this summer! After a series of crucial losses including at the final championship, Coach D is ready to shake things up at the Dollhouse. In an effort push her dancers to bring on their A game, Coach D announces the spots for battle captains are up for grabs and new dancers will be joining the team who are ready to pump up the volume. With creative new dance routines and solos, the competitiveness reaches an all-time high.Founded in 2001 by Dianna Williams, or "Miss D," the Dancing Dolls of Jackson, Mississippi, are one of the country's preeminent dance troupes, with over 15 Grand Champion titles and more than 100 trophies under their belt. With their adorable smiles and unique high-energy dance style, the Dolls, ages seven to 17, have taken the world of hip-hop majorette competition by storm. Each episode follows the top Dolls and their dedicated moms as they prepare for cutthroat competitions, parades and showcases, culminating in nail-biting stand-battles against their biggest rivals. Miss D has a well-earned reputation for being both a fierce competitor and a phenomenal mentor who teaches her students the importance of a good education, persistence and positive selfworth. As they compete against dance troupes in Mississippi and Tennessee, Miss D pushes her team to the limit, demanding that they "bring it" each and every week.Bring It! is produced by Pilgrim Studios. Executive producers for Pilgrim are Craig Piligian and Derek W. Wan. Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Colleen Conway Grogan executive produce the series for Lifetime. Eight one-hour episodes of the series have been ordered for this season.
Coach D needs the Dancing Dolls to slay the competition; the dancers get a crash course in "New Orleans bounce''; some of the girls get the opportunity to see Beyoncé in concert; the parents get a rare night out.
Twelve girls go on a field trip to New York for a Central Park dance challenge, with the chance for one of them to win an intensive summer scholarship at Manhattan's prestigious Broadway Dance Center.
Dianna adds Torrey, a new ballet coach, to the team; Tina feels the new coach is there to take Kayla's position; Kayla looks into finding a studio space to teach hip-hop classes on the side; the Dolls have to master Torrey's tough lyrical skills.
Faith and Daija are chosen to do a Ballet Duo routine taught by Torrey; Torrey's tough love teaching style shakes Faith, who is already feeling like she's missing out on being a teenager because of the DD's hectic schedule.
Miss D heads to Birmingham to prep her newest Dolls against their big sisters in Jackson for a scrimmage; Kayla rises to the challenge back home but when chaos breaks out in the Jackson studio, Torrey takes matters into his own hands.
Coach D adds a major twist that shakes up this week's stand battle; the Dancing Doll veterans are temporarily benched as a new squad is thrown into battle; tensions rise as one of Brandon's twins makes cuts, which leads Brandon to confront Miss D.
