not planed. TV Show was canceled.
In the sunbaked hills of British Columbia's wine country, maverick entrepreneur Bob Kay stays one step ahead of the law, and dreams of turning his medical marijuana dispensary into the biggest retail brand in pot. High on ambition, and rolling in cash, he keeps it all straight with the help of his wife, four children -- and loyal team of misfit workers. But with bud soon to be legalized -- big business and politicians are angling to put the little guy out of business -- can Bob take his small-town pot shop to the next level? Or will he, and countless other marijuana entrepreneurs just like him, soon be history?
Bob attends a Christmas charity event with his family, but Santa doesn't want to be associated with anyone who promotes marijuana; Tanner tries to come up with a smooth oil; the team puts too much cannabis oil in a new batch of treats.
With the city of Kelowna threatening to shut down his store, Bob and Christie head to a nearby city to open another dispensary; lollipops go missing at the store and everyone is a suspect; Christie contemplates when and how to ask Bob for a raise.
Bob takes his mom car shopping; Shatterday, a marijuana concentrate is flying off the shelves; pot entrepreneur Jo Le offers to sell Bob his licensed retail store in Vancouver's prime shopping district.
Bob and his 16-year-old son Kaleb visit Lift, a high-end pot conference in Toronto, and get a giddy eyeful of the multi-billion-dollar recreational market looming on the horizon. They also tour the sprawling grow op at Tweed, Canada's largest publicly traded pot company, where it's clear that big business has already taken over the industry. Undaunted, Bob goes to Vancouver, to make an offer on Jo's flagship Robson Street location. But can he get Jo to come down from his $5 million asking price?
