Candid Camera is one of the world’s first reality shows. In this series, unwitting participants are caught in unusual events while being recorded without their knowledge. Even though the events are plotted out in advance, the individual who is unwittingly participating has no knowledge that anything is out of the ordinary. Even though the series focused mostly on normal people, there were also several episodes that featured celebrities as well, who also didn’t realize that they were the subject of a practical joke.
