Next Episode of Cantore Stories: On Top of the World is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Meteorologist Jim Cantore visits some of America's most amazing climates and meets the extraordinary people who live there. From the swampy marshes of the Louisiana Bayou to the icy roads of upper Minnesota to the tropical rainforests of Hawaii, each half-hour episode gives a glimpse of how residents adapt to life in such environments and how these locations impact the world we live in. In the Louisiana Bayou, Cantore explores the distinctive culture, climate and wildlife that define the region -- everything from alligator hunting to crawfish boils to Zydeco music. In International Falls, Minnesota, Cantore discovers ice roads, ice fishing, and polar plunges, and he meets some of the quirkier people who live in the city known as the "Icebox of the Nation." The Weather Channel originally planned to air Cantore Stories: Life on the Bayou and Cantore Stories: Hawaii Island of Adventure on October 4 & 11, 2009, respectively, but the programs never aired.
