The series follows Karim, a French diplomat who comes to the rescue of a young French woman Natalie, living in Israel and suspected of murdering her husband on their wedding night. Karim cannot figure out whether the young lady is deeply lost and vulnerable, or dangerously manipulative. Obsessed with this case, Karim will dive into Natalie and her family's mysterious past.
Detectives Esti and Rafi conduct a crime scene reconstruction. Natalie's memories of the event are confused.
When Karim asks one of his French friends to investigate Natalie's past life in the city of Nice, on the Riviera, he makes some disturbing discoveries.
Karim suspects Natalie's ex, Alex Perretti, of Eran's murder, and informs the police that Perretti has been spotted in the area.
Natalie doesn't find the answers she's looking for, but she doesn't give up.
Detective Esti questions Natalie's mother and gets her to confess.
