Next Episode of Ancient Earth: Dinosaurs of the Frozen Continent is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Antarctica went through greenhouse epochs before it eventually succumbed to ice again. The great mystery is how the animals and plant life evolved and survived in a strange polar seasonal world of months of darkness.
The new expedition to the ice continent of Antarctica begins. Scientists arrive at their camp on Shackleton glacier, located in the Transantarctic mountains, to begin their 6 week-long dig.
We find out how the discovery of the Cryolophosaurus, dubbed the T-Rex of Antarctica, and a 25-foot-long plant eater, the Glacialisaurus, lead to renewed interest in a continent that was thought to be largely devoid of life.
