Next Episode of Don Chinche is

A crochet-fabric hat, a polka-dot tie and a multicolored checkered jacket were the trademarks of 'Don Chinche' (literally, Mr. Bedbug), a jack-of-all-trades who gained great prominence on Colombian television when the lower classes did not have much room in the media. During nine years (1982-1990) his story, full of lively situations out of his moonlighting, was broadcast on Saturdays, then by 1983 the meeting was scheduled on Sunday nights for the whole family together. The success of Don Chinche was based on a reflection of lower classes' harsh reality, which until then had been ignored by the dramatized shows, but displaying a very Colombian humor, manners and memorable characterizations.
Don 'Chinche' became one of the first spin-offs in Colombian television. The character was created on the long-running comedy "Yo Y Tu" (Me and You) where he was named Regulo Ramirez, copyright conflicts compelled the producers to change the name. Don Chinche's sidekick was Eutimio, a naive neighbor from Huila, who helped around in the shop. A host of colorful characters completed the cast of folks who lived around the workshop.
