When she discovers that her long-idolized but reclusive favorite manga creator, Yasuno-sensei, will make a rare appearance at Comitia, Ai doesn't hesitate—she has to meet her hero. But that single decision sets off a chain of encounters that will shatter her assumptions about art, genius, and what it truly means to create.
Ai Yasumi's love for manga inspires her to start creating stories of her own.
Ai draws manga for the first time in order to convince Teshima-sensei to become the manga club's advisor.
While on the search for a third manga club member, Ai comes across Kokoro, an introvert with a talent for art.
Ai and Kokoro begin a long process of trial and error as they try and create their first manga as a club.
The Manga Research Club decides to release a manga at Comitia, but first they must get through final exams.
