John Stamos plays Gino Minnelli, the lead singer of a Philadelphia rock band. Teenie-bop heart-throb John Stamos (General Hospital) stars as one of five struggling rock musicians in this 1980s version of The Monkees. There's lots of music — in MTVlike videos. These two street kids (played by John Stamos and Cain Devore, respectively) who along with three other friends hope to make it big with their rock 'n roll band "Dreams". Consider our hero, Gino. He's great-looking, flawlessly groomed, enormously talented.
