Next Episode of El Corazón de Sergio Ramos is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Sergio Ramos captains two powerhouse teams - The Spanish National Team and Real Madrid. Both teams' rollercoaster of a season is documented through the lens of the press, fans and Sergio himself. Off the field, Sergio's passions and family life stabilize him as he enjoys the every-day life as a father of three, a partner to his fiancée, Pilar Rubio, and as an Andalusian (or PRE) stud farmer.
1 March 2020. Real Madrid-Barcelona. ‘El Clásico' is the most important match of the year, the one that brings the world to a standstill, and this year it sees both teams playing for the top spot in the League. The Real Madrid captain revisits the most powerful memories of that historic rivalry as he prepares to face the ninety minutes that will define the course of the season.
Real Madrid faces Betis in Sevilla, the city that Sergio will always carry in his heart. Each visit turns into a special occasion to go back in time, remember his origins, and relive his beginnings in the junior ranks of Sevilla F.C., and his move to Real Madrid. Sergio reveals for the first time the whole truth about his controversial transfer.
March 2020. The coronavirus is spreading uncontrollably across the planet and Real Madrid is the first club in the League to put its players in quarantine. Football comes to a halt and the President of the Government of Spain declares a lockdown for citizens throughout the country. Sergio faces 99 days of lockdown at home, with his pregnant wife and three children.
Football is back after lockdown, without the crowds in the stadiums and with a very intense schedule. Real Madrid faces two missions: to make a comeback in the League in order to fight Barcelona for the championship and to make a comeback in the Champions League for an option to win another European title. And between one battle and another, Sergio and Pilar welcome a new member to the family.
No one has worn the Spanish national team shirt more times than Sergio Ramos. While he trains with the team to face a series of international commitments, the captain reviews his greatest achievements with ‘La Roja' and reflects on the moments of doubt and melancholy that he experiences every time he has to leave his wife and children for the sake of football.
The last episode of this season focuses on the future plans of Sergio and his family for the next few years. We will find out about major football challenges he still has pending, and also his involvement in a new business outside the playing field, as he begins to think about where life could take him once he leaves football.
