This episode looks at the reign of Catherine the Great and the conflict Russia engaged in with France. The pivotal battle of Borodino is explored, as the Russian Army finally confronts the Napoleonic French forces.
Lucy's journey concludes as she investigates the grip the family had on Russia and how it unravelled in their final century in power.
