Next Episode of Fletcher's Family Farm is
unknown.
Join former Emmerdale and Strictly star, actor and first-time farmer Kelvin Fletcher, his wife, actress and model Liz and their four children, as they open their home and hearts to share an intimate insight into their rural life.
Kelvin and Liz scan their sheep to find out how many are pregnant. Marnie and Milo head out on an egg hunt when their chickens decide to lay all over the farm, and a field undergoes repairs as rotten posts get pulled out ready for an extension.
Kelvin and his family continue their farming journey in the Peak District, but their lambing season is full of challenges this year as Kelvin goes through a devastating loss when a three-day-old lamb breaks her leg - it's also time for the pigs to go to auction, but Kelvin may struggle to make a return on his investment with prices at an all-time low. Elsewhere, Liz tries to get hands-on with the cows but is convinced that they don't like her after a close encounter with a calf.
The farm opens up to the public for an Easter event that is Liz and Kelvin's chance to bring in more income to support the farm, and there's drama in the lambing shed when a a vet attends to a ewe that is struggling to give birth and needs to give the sheep an emergency Caesarean section - elsewhere, it's time to train the cows and get them used to being on head collars as Kelvin enters them into the Royal Cheshire Show.
This week, it's all hands-on deck as the Fletchers gather in their expanded flock for an essential health check and, with the family's constant care, the orphaned lamb Aga is thriving.
It's time to shear the sheep, Milo helps repair a dry stone wall, Kelvin joins a charity bike ride, and some last-minute Cheshire Show preparations take place.
The big day arrives as the Fletchers compete in the Royal Cheshire Show with their cows Cherry and Sonic, but with only four weeks of cow ownership under their belts, how well will they do? Marnie's calf starts playing up as he becomes overwhelmed by the noise of the crowd, while Milo enters the young handler contest, and emotions are high for Kelvin and Liz as the show comes to a close.
Marnie heads to market to pick a Jacob ram for her flock and Kelvin focuses on the breeds that bring in money. The family decide to have a night away camping in their own woodland.
Ruby the cow finally gives birth in the early hours of the morning but her calf struggles to breathe after being stuck in the birth canal. Milo and Liz head to a local dairy farm to take a look at a vending machine which gives Liz some ideas about what they could sell on their farm. The kids go into the woodland on a nature safari, and it's time to make hay!
The Fletchers focus on diversification at the farm as Kelvin forages for berries and herbs to make their very own Fletchers' gin. Liz is feeling inspired by leftover sheep's wool and heads to a mill in Oldham to see if they can be made into blankets and Marnie and Milo retrieve their wildlife cameras to log the multiple species they see in their woods. Ruby the cow finally turns a corner and lets her calf drink from her after struggling to bond with her.
As they have now got to grips with owning cows, Kelvin wants to expand the herd and is in the market for a bull - he therefore heads off to a local breeder to see what he has for sale.
