In First to the End of the World, host Martin Johnsrud Sundby gives an epic challenge to four participating couples: they will embark on a 6,000-kilometer race from Marrakesh in Morocco to the End of the World in Norway, and they must get there without boarding a single plane. Without a mobile phone, and with a limited budget, the couples must navigate their way from Morocco via Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Austria and Germany, before finally reaching the finish line in Norway.
Four couples will compete to reach the End of the World in Norway first, without taking a single flight, and on a tight budget. The adventure starts in Marrakesh.
Lothe and Ida head for the family apartment in Portugal, but without a key, while Linni and Mia suddenly discover that the money belt is missing.
Markus and Ronny spend the night at a horse farm. Linni and Mia have to sit on a bus for six hours without food or drink, which Mia can't handle.
Linni and Mia take jobs at a churros restaurant in Madrid, while Lothe and Ida try their hand at scuba diving. Sindre and Clas have a nice conversation about the past.
Martin waits for the couples at the checkpoint in Carcassonne. The race is tight, but who will be the first to sign the yellow book?
Sindre and Clas try canyoning, Lothe and Ida make perfume, Markus and Ronny go truffle hunting, while Linni and Mia are robbed on the train.
It becomes an intense race to the checkpoint in Portofino. Linni and Mia's bad luck continues, while Lothe and Ida have spent a little too much money.
Mia celebrates her birthday by driving a Ferrari and baking pizza. Markus and Ronny take a dip in Lake Garda, while Lothe and Ida work at a torture museum.
Markus and Ronny relax at a beer spa in Prague, while Clas and Sindre work at the BMW Museum. Lothe and Ida work at a salt factory in Salzburg.
Markus and Ronny take up the guitar to earn some money. Lothe and her daughter Ida forge a stronger bond. Martin waits with the yellow book in Berlin.
The sixth and final stage from Berlin to the End of the World in Norway is underway. The competitive instinct is high. This will be the toughest stage yet.
