In April 2007, a Swedish peacekeeping force left for Afghanistan. This documentary follows soldiers from the Swedish army, both male and female, and captures how exactly their lives are on deployment. During the series we get to follow not only the lives of the solders in Afghanistan, but also their families back home in Sweden.
