In Stratford-upon-Avon, Piers and Emma assemble a giant 21st-century castle with a tower, castellations, a moat, arrow-slits, loggia courtyards and futuristic technology. At 1100 square metres, it's the biggest building ever featured on Grand Designs. The sheer scale and complexity, along with a budget soaring way past Piers and Emma's predicted £2.2 million, gives Greg and Kevin plenty to get their teeth into.

When Kevin last visited in 2016, he saw a very unfinished house, with the family camping between studwork and breezeblock walls.
