Next Episode of Griff's Great Britain is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Following the success of A Great Welsh Adventure, Griff Rhys Jones sets out on a typically intrepid series of explorations and challenges in a brand-new ITV series for early 2016.With his trademark inquisitiveness and thirst for the eclectic and little-known, Griff sets out to explore eight very disparate kinds of quintessentially British terrain, from downs to highlands, coasts to wolds and everything in between – unearthing some quirky and funny facts en route.Britain is home to a huge variety of landscapes, and their sheer natural abundance takes centre stage as Griff investigates how they have each dictated different ways of living, working and playing – both in the past and as they are now - across the entire country. And as he embarks on each stage of his journey, Griff encounters a unique challenge. It could be posted in a shop window, stuck inside a parking ticket, even emblazoned across a deckchair, and demanding an often bizarre-sounding task, from finding a golden eagle to hunting a vampire.
Griff heads to the South Downs in Sussex, to try and find out what makes the landscape so special. He gets a birds eye view from the air and then gets a view from the ground on a bike.
A exploration of the picturesque estuaries of Suffolk and Essex. Griff also heads to see a replica of the Mayflower and explores Constable country.
Griff visits the Scottish highlands and tries searching for Britain's second largest bird of prey, the golden eagle.
This week Griff visits Dartmoor National Park, home of ancient woodlands, high granite tors, tracts of rolling moorland, llamas and legends.
Griff explores the British passion for the sea, visiting seaside towns Scarborough and Whitby.
Griff heads to the Lake District and meets the man who has made the largest cumberland sausage in the world. He also tries speeding on Britain's steepest road.
In this episode Griff spends some time in the Wolds. He also gets to exhibit a giant vegetable.
Griff tackles his final challenge and heads to Shropshire and the surrounding area to try and 'catch a dragon'.
