Next Episode of Handmade: Britain's Best Woodworker is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Mel Giedroyc hosts as talented, good-with-wood craftspeople compete to be crowned Britain's best woodworker by award-winning architect Alex de Rijke and queen of furniture making Helen Welch.
The woodworkers make a supersize creepy crawly and use all their canine cunning to build a house for a four-legged friend. Who will the judges think is top dog?
The five remaining contestants must make a four-poster bed beautiful enough to grace a honeymoon suite for the big build challenge, while in the skills challenge, they carve an intricate Indian printing block. Judges Sophie Sellu and Tom Dyckhoff must then decide who will be leaving the show this week.
Mel Giedroyc hosts the semi-final, in which the contestants must create a hanging chair supported by a robust frame that captures the essence of a favourite holiday destination. The skills challenge requires them to recreate an exact replica of a chair leg on a pole lathe, before judges Sophie Sellu and Tom Dyckhoff decide who will be going through to next week's final.
Mel Giedroyc hosts the grand final, where the last remaining contestants are challenged to create a kitchen island complete with functioning cupboards and doors. For their last technical skills challenge, they design a kitchen accessory to complement their construction, before judges Sophie Sellu and Tom Dyckhoff declare this year's winner.
