unknown.
Elise, an awkward English scholarship student (for the bagpipes, she has the shoulders for it) forms an unlikely alliance with Barbara, a fashion influencer who posts about girl power all day but is always too busy to attend a protest. After a series of mishaps with men, both decide to take a stand. Barbara spearheads an activist art project in the dead of night and drunk as skunks, the girls deface a statue of the university's male founder in the University's Quadrangle. When the girls wake to discover that the university's star athlete has been murdered and displayed at the foot of their political statement, they must urgently erase all ties to the crime. With Detective Shepherd following the breadcrumbs they have been trying to sweep up, Barbara and Elise need to find the real culprit amid rising gender tensions on campus and a growing body count.
After their feminist university art project is co-opted by a killer, Elise and Barbara must form an unlikely alliance and track down the culprit.
As the girls deal with an anonymous threat that could tie them to the campus murder, Officers Shepherd and Roach kick off their investigation with an arrest.
With a second murder victim found on campus, University Club Day proves the perfect place for Elise and Barbara to search for the killer. Unfortunately, Shepherd and Roach have the exact same idea. Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor employs a self defence "coach" for vulnerable male students.
With Prue behaving strangely, the girls must crash a feminist protest party to find out what she remembers about the night of the murders. Meanwhile, Shepherd is philosophically torn as the Vice Chancellor demands she shut the protest party down.
As cracks begin to form in Elise and Barbara's friendship, Elise finds solace in her newfound bond with University Improv Theatre legend ‘Kaye Blanchett'. The only problem is Kaye is just a little bit connected to every single murder.
With a mutilated boy still missing, Shepherd and Roach are desperate to get information out of their prime suspect Donna before it's too late. Meanwhile, Barbara and Elise are attending an infamous St Stephens college party to reclaim Barbara's reputation and kickstart Elise's. But things go off course when a visitor from Barbara's past threatens to derail everything.
As Barbara comes to terms with her past trauma at a university group therapy session, Elise is doing her best to be a supportive friend whilst also stopping the Archaeology Club from digging up evidence linking them to the night of the murder. Meanwhile, the war between the MRA's and the Radical Feminists reaches its violent crescendo.
After Barbara and Elise's fallout, Elise is packing her bags for home. But when Barbara reveals who the killer is - and that they're planning their biggest kill yet - Elise is reluctantly pulled back into the action. Together the girls must protect the football team at their infamous Captain's Luncheon, before things end with a BOOM!
