Next Episode of Heading Out is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Meet Sara - a veterinarian so skilled she can spay a tortoise one-handed. She's successful, she's popular - there's just one chink in her armour - she's too scared to tell her parents she's gay. On the evening of her 40th birthday, Sara's friends give her an ultimatum: either she tells her parents when they come to visit in six weeks' time, or they will. To help Sara achieve this goal, they've saved up to buy a series of sessions with Toria, the eccentric and mildly-qualified lifestyle coach / therapist, and so the countdown begins.
About to reach the milestone age of 40, Sara's life is not how she imagined it would be.
Sara embarks on her course of life coaching with the eccentric Toria, but a hypnosis session has some unfortunate consequences for Justine.
Sara's ex-girlfriend Sabine turns up unexpectedly, throwing her life into disarray.
Eve seems keen to take her relationship with Sara further but Sabine's intervention throws a spanner in the works.
Meanwhile, Jamie is having a masculinity crisis and Daniel offers to rectify this with his own unique brand of machismo.
Sara is forced to get help from an unlikely source when a veterinary inspector calls at the surgery. A Russian woman issues an ultimatum concerning her dog to Sara. Daniel spends some quality time with the ladies.
Sara and the gang go to Toria's spooky family home for a practice exercise in which Sara must come out to Toria's parents. Toria is forced to face her own fears, and Jamie and Justine share an intimate moment.
It is time for Sara to come out to her parents. Toria issues her with a lucky charm to bring good fortune, but it seems Sara's luck may be about to run out.
With a break-in at the surgery, a snake on the loose, and a confrontational policeman, will Sara be able to overcome all hurdles and finally be honest with her family?
