Next Episode of Hitler's DNA: Blueprint of a Dictator is
unknown.
For the first time ever, experts identify Hitler's DNA. What do his genes reveal about Hitler's heritage and origins, his neurology and drives?
At the end of the Second World War, an American colonel entered Hitler's bunker and cut a blood-soaked swatch of material from the couch where the tyrant shot himself. A team of scientists led by geneticist Professor Turi King and historian Dr Alex J Kay have extracted DNA from the fabric to investigate whether, as was suggested at the time, Hitler had a Jewish relative and if he had ADHD and autism.
The team discover that Hitler may have had a genetic mutation that causes a medical condition called Kallmann Syndrome, which disrupts the development of sex organs. Turi King and the team make several extraordinary genetic discoveries concerning Hitler's high likelihood of suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
