Next Episode of Hollands Hoop is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
When forensic psychiatrist Fokke Augustine inherited a farm from his father, he's at home with a burnout. He decides to move to the Groningen countryside with his family. The farm appears to be a marijuana empire and is part of a criminal network. The ethical sense of Fokke is crumbling, especially when he is successful with doubtful activities.
Progress takes the family further from home. A new world opens up, bringing new problems. This is also true for Fokke, who, with Pepijn's help, is busy tapping into new markets. Machteld is also seeking growth and finds fulfillment with Rinus and the women. An unhealthy dynamic develops between Machteld and Lara.
As Liesbeth recovers, her influence within the Augustinus family also grows and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Rinus, too, has his influence on the family, and that's not necessarily a good thing. The only one who seems to be losing his influence is Fokke, but is that really fair? After all, in this industry, not everything is black and white. Fortunately, there's some good news, too.
Rinus causes more trouble than is good for him, and Fokke makes sure he knows it; after all, there can only be one boss. But pride has its downside. Fokke may be back in control, but it's lonely at the top. He risks alienating everyone. If he wants to maintain his position within the family and the community, he'll have to throw a celebration. It's going to be a day to remember.
The family is back to square one and is even on the verge of falling apart. Nothing and no one is the same anymore, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. After all, when your back is against the wall, at least you still have something to push off from. It's time to take stock and settle the score with old habits, the past, and a common enemy. Heads must roll, but with so much venom who can keep their head straight?
