I Get That a Lot is a reality television special originally created by Danny Harris occasionally airing on CBS, which sets up celebrities in everyday working class jobs. Hidden cameras are used to capture the reactions of unsuspecting customers and bypassers. When the celebrities are recognized, they deny their real identities and say "I get that a lot", until the end of the segment, at which time the cameras are revealed and they come forward about their identities.
Unsuspecting people are tricked by celebrities who have taken ordinary jobs. Included: Kristin Chenoweth works as a waitress; chef Guy Fieri sells cars; Rita Ora works in a tanning salon; NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers works the front desk at a gym; Alex Trebek answers questions at a public library; and Cody Simpson sells candy.
This 1-hour special features popular stars pulling pranks on everyday people. Celebrity participants include actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth working as a waitress at a New York diner; restaurateur, author and television personality Guy Fieri selling cars; singer Rita Ora working at a tanning salon; Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers working the front desk at a gym; Australian pop sensation Cody Simpson selling candy; and "Jeopardy's" Alex Trebek behind the information desk at a public library.
