A look at the case of Kelly, an anorexic who weighed 93 pounds and whose young daughter was following in her footsteps.

Growing up in a South Boston neighborhood run by the Irish mob, Tom becomes caught up in the gangster lifestyle; after being indicted on drug charges, Tom loses his house, his job and his family's respect.

Molested as a young child, Amber bottles up her emotions, begins binge eating and becomes bulimic; despite the appearance of an idyllic family life after high school, Amber drinks heavily and purges regularly to deal with her depression.

Family upheaval and a sexual assault scars a once-bright child, leading her to become a party girl and full-blown heroin addict.
