Look, Al, I'm not asking you to spy. Just asking you to steal.

Inspired by the 1955 movie It Takes a Thief, this series chronicles the adventures of playboy Alexander Mundy (Robert Wagney). Unknown to the world at large, Mundy is also one of the world's greatest cat burglars. The U.S. government eventually caught Mundy but offered him a deal: he would be released from prison and considered under house arrest, but in return he'd have to lend his talents to the SIA and steal from America's enemies.

Mundy was supervised by SIA agent Noah Bain (Malachi Throne) in the first two seasons (Wally Powers in the third). In the third season he occasionally teamed up with his father Alistair Mundy (Fred Astaire), a retired cat burglar who taught Alexander everything he knew.
