J.J. de Bom voorheen 'De Kindervriend'

To find out what problems children had, two calls were shpwn on television. The outcome was about 300 letters, which were set as model to the series in which each episode a topic was discussed. Questions and problems ranging from "how to solve a fight?" to "I dare not buy sanitary towels".

The questions were addressed by three main characters: Jan J. de Bom, a former toy shop owner which was called 'De Kindervriend', Hein Gatje, the postman, who brings in the letters from the children and Titia Konijn, the always positive social worker.
