Jigsaw

James Wainwright starred in this crime drama as Lt. Frank Dain. The series aired on ABC during the 1972-73 season as part of a trilogy under the umbrella title of The Men. The other two series were Assignment Vienna and The Delphi Bureau.
A framed police lieutenant is caught in a web of deception when he can't produce the body of a suspect he says he shot or the woman he claims witnessed the shooting, in "Jigsaw" a two-hour motion picture which had its world premiere on "The ABC Sunday Night Movie" Sunday, March 26 of 1972.
