Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai

Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai is the story of a united family which finds itself confronted with the biggest temptation of all times - money.

The lust for money disrupts the delicate balance of this family leading into a clash of ideologies. Is it right to accept money which is not earned rightfully? Is it right to let your dreams be filled by someone else's money? These are just a few questions we try to answer.

Rajeshwar is a principal of a reputed college. He has earned enough respect in society and is unperturbed about not having earned enough money. The family is comfortable but there are germs of discontentment, specially amongst the youngsters. None of this dampens the happiness and the unity in their house though.

Rajeshwar and his wife of 25 years Radhika are still very much in love. They have a deep understanding, which does not require words. Their children look as if they have ingrained the same principals in their life, they are content and happy with the life they are leading.

Until one day, the circumstances change. Radhika's past catches up with her. She had got married to Rajeshwar against the wishes of her father who being a rich man refused to let her marry a mere teacher but Radhika stood by her decision and chose to marry Rajeshwar, a sin in the eyes of her father, for which he didn't forgive her for 25 years.

Now on his deathbed he relents and after 25 years an old man sitting on a pile of wealth wants to reunite with his only child.

His wealth opens the door of dreams, aspirations and ambitions for Rajeshwar's children. His family starts crumbling under the enormous pressure of wealth. Though Rajeshwar tries very hard to make his children see sense they are totally blinded by the glitter of money.

The story deals with the problems that money brings along changing the fabric of their relationship. How a happy family breaks down to the temptation that money brings. How their interpersonal relationships change. And most importantly, how the relationship between Rajeswar and Radhika, which has bravely confronted the tests of time all these years, changes.

But will this family fall apart? Or will the children realise their mistake and come back to the family? Will the futility of having only money and nothing else in their lives finally dawn on them? Will the Agnihotris be the same ever again?
