Next Episode of Кузя. Путь к успеху is
unknown.
The story takes viewers back to Kuzi's past and shows how, after leaving university, he ended up in his native Agapovka and unexpectedly became the head of a local collective farm. This is where his path to big business begins — with all the difficulties, adventures and his cousin's trademark spontaneity. Trying to save the farm from bankruptcy, Kuzya encounters the intrigues of a city businessman who wants to take over the land. In her personal life, too, everything is not easy: a practical neighbor, Verka, a divorced mother with a child, and a spoiled city girl, Dasha, the daughter of that businessman, are fighting for Kuzi's attention. The story unfolds in the format of memories of an already successful Kuzi, about whom the film is being shot, and shows how a simple guy from a dorm turned into a "dumpling king."
In the studio, the already successful Eduard Kuzmin recalls how, after leaving the university, he returned to his native Agapovka without a goal or plan. Everything changes when Kuzya decides to stand up for his mother and unexpectedly becomes the chairman of the local collective farm.
Kuzya is trying to get used to his new position and prove that he can save the collective farm. Meanwhile, a city girl named Dasha arrives in Agapovka, and their meeting marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life.
The festival is a success, and the collective farm receives its first money from the sale of products. However, a businessman named Boris Ilyich (played by Anatoly Kot) appears and offers to buy the collective farm's land for the construction of a toll road. Kuzya refuses, unaware that Dasha is Boris Ilyich's daughter. Vera notices that Dasha has a clear crush on Kuzya, and she becomes jealous.
Kuzya has to prove his authority as chairman when a delicate problem with a bull arises in the collective farm. Meanwhile, Kuzya's mother and Verka team up to deal with his affection for Dasha.
Kuzya tries to stop drunkenness among the tractor drivers and improve the work of the collective farm. Meanwhile, on Kruglov's orders, Herman carries out a dangerous money transaction that unexpectedly backfires on the conspirators themselves.
Kuzya is preparing an unusual birthday gift for Dasha - a hot air balloon ride. But the romantic idea quickly turns into a dangerous adventure, and Varka decides to interfere with the holiday in her own way.
After the appearance of Dasha's ex-fiancé, Kuzya becomes despondent again and almost abandons the collective farm. Meanwhile, rumors about his "wedding" to Varka cause a chain of absurd misunderstandings in the village.
Kuzya and Kolya find a corpse in a flooded tractor, but it turns out that the supposed "drowned man" is alive, and this is all part of an old scam involving missing machinery. Meanwhile, Zoya Ivanovna's attempt to seduce Kuzya leads to confusion, and the main mystery of whose corpse it was remains unsolved.
Kuzya and Herman decide to trick Kruglov: they pretend that the collective farm is about to come under his control, in order to use his greed and force him to pay off his multimillion-dollar debt. While Kruglov is convinced that he has won and is preparing the deal, Kuzya publicly presents him as the "savior of the collective farm," but in the end, everything falls apart when Dasha discovers the truth about the fraud, her father, and leaves Kuzya.
After the success of the village dumplings, the demand skyrockets, and Kuzya and German try to turn their homemade production into a real business: they hire grandmothers, raise money from the entire village, and build a factory. But just as it seems that the collective farm finally has a chance for a new life, an unknown person sets fire to the hangar containing all the equipment.
