For the new year, the staff of Kura all show up to work in kimono. Kiyotaka takes Aoi out to a temple, and they make a promise to visit a cafe together later. But while they're out, an unexpected reunion will change Kiyotaka and Aoi's relationship.

On Valentine's Day, popular mystery author Aigasa Kurisu invites Kiyotaka and Aoi to the Shinkokan at the Yoshida-Sanso. But instead of an innocent book reading, they find a group of suspects and a mystery to be solved.

It's been almost a year since Aoi first came to Kura. Rikyu's grandfather has invited his three sons to his mansion to identify his successor. But they'll need the help of an appraiser to prove their true worth to the family.
