Caught up in the media storm, the club calls on Sam Berger, a talented communicator, to manage the crisis. As at the end of every season, the French soccer family celebrates its heroes. All hell breaks loose when Racing Paris star Fodé Thiam head-butts his coach, calling him a "dirty toubab". To manage the crisis, club president François Marens calls on the services of the Kairos Conseil agency, which includes talented communicator Sam Berger. Marie Kinsky, Sam's ex-friend and rival, instrumentalizes the event by fanning the flames of the identity divide.
To stem the escalation of the Fodé affair, Racing and the Kairos agency have to react, especially in the face of the decolonial collective "La Boucle" represented by the magnetic Kenza Chelbi. Tristan and Sam devise a response strategy. It will be the test of fire: the Canal Football Club interview. Marie uses her influence over a member of parliament to turn the tables and jeopardize Fodé's selection for the French national team. Sam realizes that a race between her and Kinsky has begun, and that civil peace in France may depend on the outcome.
